This is the Sunflower card that the ladies made who attended my recent New Catalog open house. It was so fun to see everyone and share what we’ve all been up to. We played a game, took a tour through the new catalog, and I had fun handing out prizes. I also had “grab bags” for $5; the stapled bags contained various assortments of retired ribbon and embellishments. These bags were a big hit and I sold all of them. And…..I got rid of some of my retired product! The ladies had fun opening the bags, and trading some of the contents with others if they saw something else they would rather have. I definitely will be offering grab bags at my events in the future!
Back to my Sunflower card –
I must admit I got the idea from another demonstrator (sorry, I cannot remember her name). This card is simple to make, and shows what you can do with smaller pieces of Designer Series Paper that we all accumulate over time. One of the new In Colors, Bumblebee, was used to make the card, but any color would work (who knows – there might be blue sunflowers out there somewhere). The Flowers For Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper uses many beautiful colors. Most of them are the 2020-2022 In Colors: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, plus Poppy Parade and Whisper White.
