It has been too long since I’ve posted here! Between everyday life and prepping for my classes and stamp club the time has just flown by. But I’ve been creating, and want to share a fall card I made with the Love of Leaves stamp set. This set is so beautiful , and when stamped, the leaves already have a texture-look that I love. To create more of a watercolor look, I stamped the leaves, then lightly spritzed with water before applying to the paper.
The Love of Leaves stamp set coordinates with the Stitched Leaves Dies, and both can be purchased as a bundle, saving 10%. Both the stamp set and dies can be found on page 49 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
I got the idea for this Love of Leaves card from another demonstrator, but changed it up a bit to make it my own. I gussied up a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series paper by drawing on some lines with Basic Black and Pretty Peacock watercolor markers. That totally changed the appearance of the paper, and allowed me to add some color that coordinated with the stamped leaves.
Here is a list of products I used to make this card –
- Stamp Set: Love of Leaves, #153452 (bundled with the Stitched Leaves Dies #155195)
- Paper: Whisper White #100730; Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper #153527; Pretty Peacock #150880; Cajun Craze #119684
- Ink: Bumblebee #153116; Cajun Craze #147085; Pretty Peacock #150083
- Other: Stitched Leaves Dies #153567; 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots #152480; Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430; Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755
This was a fun and easy but stunning card to make. You could make a few of these in no time at all, and who doesn’t like time-saving projects!
