I found a recent tutorial from Dawn Olchefske on Color Blocking and decided to give it a try. What a great way to use up those scraps of Designer Series Paper we have laying around. This card layout is great for mixing and matching patterns in a pack of Designer Series Paper.
I made two cards using this layout that I would like to share with you. Both use some of Stampin’ Up!’s current Designer Series Paper that is on sale this month at 15% off.
This card was made with the following products –
- Stamp Set: Biggest Wish – retired, but any greeting stamp will do
- Paper: Smoky Slate; Basic White; Petal Pink; Country Lace Designer Series Paper #163415
- Ink: Basic Gray
- Other: Sweet Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder; Happy Labels Pick-A-Punch; Petal Park Punch; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Tombow Multipurpose Glue
I also dry embossed the envelope flap with the Sweet Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder for a special touch.
Here is my second card –
Products used –
- Stamp Set: Frosted Forest
- Paper: Wild Wheat; Basic White; Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper #163323
