I made a third Easter card using the Ginkgo Biloba image found in the Beautifully Braided stamp set, but this card can be used for any occasion like “thinking of you” or a masculine birthday card (which always seem to be a challenge for me). There are some really nice sentiment stamps that come with this set, like ” Your smile brightens my day”. There is also a coordinating Braided Border Punch, which can be purchased separately or as a bundle with the stamp set. I really hope this set and coordinating punch make it into the 2020 Annual Catalog!
The focal image is a lovely ginkgo leaf, which is large and fills most of the space on a card front, which I love. I got this layout idea from another demonstrator (sorry, I have lost her name; if it is you please take credit in the Comments section). I made a few changes to make the design my own.
I used the Stamparatus to make the card, which saved me a lot of time since I was making multiples of this design. Love that tool!
Products I used are:
- Stamps: Beautifully Braided (Occasions Catalog #151637). Bundled with the Braided Border Punch #153821
- Paper: Pear Pizzazz; Gold Foil; Whisper White
- Ink: Pear Pizzazz; Stampin’ Blends – Light Pear Pizzazz, Dark Pineapple Punch and Light Soft Suede
- Other: Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Occasions Catalog #151193); Stamparatus; Tombow Liquid Glue
