Today I am sharing a card I made with the Warm Hugs stamp set. I always include a card with customer orders as a thank you, and for my Christmas In July class orders I chose to use the Warm Hugs stamp set. A card shared by Brian King served as my inspiration, and I chose fall colors to complete my card. I adopted his choice to make a card the size of Stampin’ Up!’s 5″ x 3-1/2″ note cards. This size enabled me to make two cards out of one sheet of the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, with some nice scraps leftover to use on other projects.
The Warm Hugs stamp set is part of the Heartwarming Hugs Suite of products, #155106, found on page 9 of the Stampin’ Up! August-December Mini Catalog. Everything you see on Page 9 is included when you purchase the Suite! Warm Hugs is also available as a bundle with the Warm Wraps Dies, #155145. Buying the set as a bundle saves you 10% over buying the stamp set and dies separately.
I love the simplicity of this card, and the versatility it offers when different stamps in the set and colors are used. Following are the products I used to make the card:
- Stamp Set: Warm Hugs, #153478
- Paper: Crumb Cake, #120953; Cajun Craze #119684; Whisper White #100730; Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper #153527
- Ink: Cajun Craze #147085
- Other: Warm Hugs Dies #153521; Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack #153553; Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder #152718; Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430; Mini Glue Dots #103683; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss #149653 (available September 1, 2020)
This is obviously a fall-themed card – I just couldn’t help myself. Fall is about a month and a half away, but it is my favorite season. I just love the rich colors and the cool, crisp air. What is your favorite season?

You always make such wonderful cards!! My favorite season is spring because that means summer is around the corner!! I am finding that I do not do as well in the colder months!
Dee, I like Spring, too – all the lovely shades of green – but my heart calls out for the rich colors of fall.
I agree about the rich full colors of fall. And Stampin Up always has those beautiful fall colors!! Actually I think I could honestly say I like spring, summer and fall. And I do enjoy a bit of winter around the holidays. If only it would be gone by the middle of January😂😂
