A fellow demonstrator recently shared how to cut a sheet of the 12″ x 12″ piece of Mixed Media Floral Designer Series Paper to make 4 stunning cards. I just had to use her idea to make my own card.

I chose to use Blueberry Bushel cardstock for my card base. The 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper was cut 5-1/4″ x 4″ from one side, then 5-1/4″ x 4″ from the opposite side. You will end up with a 1-1/2″ strip in the middle, which you can save for another use if you wish.
The center piece on each side makes a nice layer for the inside of your card. This is a great way to fully utilize 12″ x 12″ pieces of DSP with a pretty border on all four sides.
Although I used Blueberry Bushel for my card base, the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper uses multiple colors, so you have a wide variety to choose from for your card base: Black, Boho Blue, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow,Poppy Parade, and Shy Shamrock. Try making your card with different colors and enjoy the different looks you will achieve.
I used the Saying Something Ephemera Pack for my greeting.
The Mixed Media Florals DSP can be found in the Online Exclusives on the Stampin’ Up! website. If you choose to order a pack, please remember to indicate me as your demonstrator.
