How about a spring card? With the warmer, sunny weather I am finding the incentive to make some cards that reflect the season.
Today I am sharing a card that we made at my stamp club last Saturday. I love how the color Granny Apple Green speaks to what is happening outside. Grasses are starting to sprout and the needles on the evergreen trees are looking brighter.
I love the look of the piece of Designer Series Paper I chose. It is from the retired Dandy Designs paper pack. I hope you were fortunate to get this paper during Sale-A-Bration – it has 48 sheets of colorful designs that can be used so many ways. I also used the crosshatch embossing folder from the 3-Pack of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (part of the current Online Exclusives).

Gingko Branch Spring Card
Here is what I used to make this card –
- Stamps: Gingko Branch
- Paper: Granny Apple Green; Basic White; Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper
- Ink: Memento Black
- Other: Gingko Branch Dies; Basics 3D Embossing Folders (cross hatch design); Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels; Linen thread; Glue Dots; Seal + Adhesive; Stampin’ Dimensionals
I’ll be making more spring-themed cards, especially since Easter is just around the corner. If you are subscribed to my blog you will be notified when I post. If you are not a subscriber you can sign up to receive notifications by providing your email address in the Subscribe box.
