Here is some  inspiration using some of Stampin’ Up!’s cardstock and Designer Series Papers.  These are projects we recently made at my May stamp club/class –

Meandering Meadows Card

Paper: Balmy Blue (8-1/2” x 5-1/2”); Meandering Meadows DSP -Online Exclusive (5-1/4” x 4”); Garden Green (5-1/4” x 4”); Basic White (5-1/4” x 4”)

Other:  Delicate Forest Dies; Black & Vanilla 3/8” Large Check Ribbon; Tombow Multipurpose Glue; Glue Dots

How To:

  • Cut the Garden Green cardstock to 5-1/4: x 4”. Place this over the 6” x 6” sheet of Meandering Meadows DSP until you like the scene that will show through the frame; cut the DSP to 5-1/4” x 4”.  Adhere the frame to the DSP with glue.
  • Cut a piece of ribbon, tie in a single knot. Adhere to the card with a glue dot.

Adhere the piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.

Mediterranean Blooms Card

This card was designed by my stepdaughter, Barbara, who was visiting last week –

Stamps: Citrus Blooms

Paper: Night of Navy; Old Olive; Daffodil Delight; Basic White

Ink: Pecan Pie; Old Olive; Stampin’ Blends – Light Lemon Lolly, Dark Daffodil Delight; Light Pebbled Path; Light & Dark Old Olive; Basic Beige

How To –

  • Use the frame die to cut Night of Navy card face
  • Adhere the Mediterranean Blooms DSP to the inside of the card face frame
  • Using the 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 Basic White stamp the single lemon with Basic Beige
  • Cut out the lemon with the corresponding die
  • Color the lemon with Stampin’ Blends – Light Lemon Lolly & Dark Daffodil Delight. Color center of blossom with Light Pebbled Path.  Color leaves with Light & Dark Old Olive
  • To make the tag –
    • Use the two lemon blossom dies at one edge of the 2” x 3” piece of Old Olive
    • Adhere the 2” x 1-1/4” piece of Basic White to the back of the Old Olive tag so the white shows through
    • Snip around the blossoms
    • Add an Oval Round
  • Glue the tag onto the card face
  • Glue the lemon onto the tag and card
  • Stamp “HELLO” (offset it) on the ¾” x 1-1/2” piece of Daffodil Delight
