I recently saw a new way to make a Center Flap Fold card, and decided to try my hand at making one – an Arrow Center Pop Up. I may also call it an envelope front card. I got the cutting directions from Tami White.

The cardbase is 11″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Mark the center of the top at 2-3/4″ Cut from the middle score line to the mark on both sides.
Cut the Designer Series Paper at 5-1/4″ x 4″. Mark the long side at 2-5/8″ and cut from the top corners to the mark. You will end up with a triangle shape for the front flap of the card. Save the two outside corner pieces (you will use the backside).
Cut a piece of white cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″, adhere to the inside of the card. Now you use the two outside corner pieces of DSP – glue them to the white cardstock layer. Stamp your greeting.
Decorate the front of the card as desired.
Products I used:
Paper: Fresh Freesia; Darling Duckling; Old Olive; Basic White; Lovely & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
Ink: Smoky Slate
Other: Petals of Beauty Dies; Tombow Multipurpose Glue; Paper Trimmer
This is such a simple card to make, but one that packs a punch. I will be using this layout for many other cards. Each one will have a different look because of the use of different colors, Designer Series Papers and embellishments.
I’d love to hear what you think. Please leave me your comments in the space provided below.
