My stamp club met yesterday, and we made a card using the retiring Art Gallery stamp set. I am sad to see this two-step stamp set go away because the images are so strong, yet so beautiful. We also used the Masking Technique to give the card some depth. For some texture I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Of course, the greeting could be changed to whatever occasion you want.
I got the inspiration for this card from another demonstrator. Sorry I cannot remember her name.
Following are the products I used to make this card. Sadly, the Art Gallery stamp set, the Floral Gallery dies and the Mango Melody cardstock are being retired, but last time i checked they were still available.
- Stamps: Art Gallery (retiring and now on sale from $22 to $8.80)
- Paper: Flirty Flamingo; Mango Melody (retiring); Basic White
- Ink: Flirty Flamingo; Old Olive; Mango Melody (retiring)
- Other: Floral Gallery Dies (retiring and now on sale from $34 to $13.60); Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder; Brushed Brass Butterflies; Seal or Tombow Multipurpose Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Post-It Notes
You can order the products used on this card and shop the Retiring Products List by logging onto my Stampin’ Up! store at donnabagwell.stampinup.net.
