Today I have another Snowy Delights card for you, this one in some non-traditional colors.

I wanted to make something a little different for a Christmas card. Would the Snowy Delights Dies help me out with that?
I used the Snowy Delights Dies again, but this time my snowflake is a different color. This die cut snowflake is red. What’s up with that?! Despite not using the traditional colors of a true green and red, I think this card still looks very “Christmasy”.
My card base is Pretty Peacock, with an insert of a piece of the Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper #166066 (you can find this paper in Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives).
I stamped some small snowflakes using Pretty Peacock ink on the card front. Don’t the images look wintery on the Pretty Peacock card base?
I love the shape of the snowflake and the fact that the red color picks up the Cherry Cobbler in the design of the paper! It was cut out from a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and adhered it to the card with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
To add some sparkle I used three Faceted Snowflakes #166077, another Online Exclusive product. The packet contains 210 adhesive-backed stars in Cherry Cobbler, Clear and Pretty Peacock. These stars are part of the Elegant Pine Snowflake Collection #166079.
Time-saver alert – there is very little stamping on this card. The greeting is from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera pack #166208, found on page 15 of the 2025 Holiday Catalog. I love how the gold greeting is already cut out and ready to be adhered to a card. I raised the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Who wouldn’t love to receive this card? Simple, but not your run-of-the-mill Christmas card for sure.
